Drawings, specifications, engineering formulas, machinery and equipment do not build buildings. Buildings are designed and built by people and it is people that really make the difference when it comes to deliver a finished building. Lintel has the best people in the industry and it is not by accident, we work very hard at it.
Over the years, we have invested substantial amounts of time, effort and money in recruiting, developing and facilitating the sustained growth of our people.
And we live that philosophy. It includes a superb group of subcontractors who have worked with us for many years, a key part of the Lintel team that allows us to achieve world-class quality. Our subs, our engineers and architects, our job superintendents and our owners make it a point to attend seminars, courses and conventions every year to make sure that we stay current and up to date.

Octavio “Tavo” Ruiz is a highly talented young architect. Graduated from the prestigious Monterrey Institute of Technology in Monterrey, México, he did some graduate level work on Urban Planning and Architecture at Harvard.
Tavo worked for a short while at the city planning commission of his natal city of Nogales, México and in 1994 joined Lintel, where he has been responsible for some of the company’s most polished and beautiful building designs. He was part of the team that put together the two Lintel facilities that have earned national awards for design creativity by the Tilt-up Concrete Association of the United States.
Tavo’s hobby is learning foreign languages. Aside from his native Spanish he is fluent in English, French and Italian and, in his own words, “more or less manages” in German and Portuguese.
Married to a very attractive lady architect, Tavo plays piano and guitar and enjoys all kinds of music.
